Head of External Relations
Executive Director, Global Academic Initiatives
As executive director, Global Academic Initiatives, Dawn Feldman works in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to develop, facilitate and promote pan-university and public-private partnership engagement models that solve global learning and capacity building challenges.
These activities support Global Academic Initiatives’ role to promote educational access and opportunity, academic excellence and international impact on behalf of the university.
Before serving in her current role, Feldman served as executive director of external relations and partnerships for Arizona State University's Thunderbird School of Global Management. She connected the external community – from local partners to global organizations – into the Thunderbird and ASU learning, development, research and thought leadership ecosystem. Feldman worked closely with the heads of Thunderbird’s global centers of excellence to bring Thunderbird’s strengths to global markets, oversaw the school’s portfolio of strategic partnerships and served as an ASU Knowledge Enterprise Development Fellow.
Feldman has more than 20 years of experience in higher education, primarily designing learning solutions and leading collaborations between external stakeholders and universities. She holds a MSEd in higher education management from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from ASU's W. P. Carey School of Business.
