Home to a young and rapidly growing population, Latin America and the Caribbean play a vital role in global economic growth, cultural exchange and environmental sustainability.
Latin America and the Caribbean
Despite being the fourth-most populated region in the world, Latin America and the Caribbean stand out for their unparalleled biodiversity, housing more than 40% of the world's species as well as the world’s largest tropical rainforest, the Amazon.
The region is also one of the most culturally influential and linguistically diverse, with more than 46 million Indigenous individuals representing more than 400 distinct groups and languages that have significantly shaped global music, cuisine and traditions.
