Arizona State University's international student body is a global community of scholars with 11,330 students representing more than 132 countries.
At Arizona State University, we are proud to provide our students and faculty hundreds of international study, research, internship and service opportunities in nearly every corner of the world.
Through programs that take students abroad and initiatives that bring international students to ASU, we are preparing a cadre of young leaders empowered to participate fully in the civic, economic and cultural life of their community.
Research universities in the U.S. and around the world are a primary source of new knowledge and innovation that drives the global economy. Arizona State University is a comprehensive academic knowledge enterprise committed to discovery, creativity and innovation.
ASU is helping universities worldwide to rethink how higher education functions to educate the greatest number of students to the highest global standards at sustainable cost.
The ASU Alumni Association oversees a network of 55 international alumni connection groups. Located in countries that include Brazil, China, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Kuwait, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Sweden and the United Kingdom, these groups provide a friendly face for Sun Devil alums living outside the United States, and coordinate events that share university developments with alumni and ASU supporters.
Activities hosted by the international connection groups have included game-watching parties, recruitment events, Sun Devil Send-Offs for local students attending ASU, special events featuring ASU President Michael M. Crow or other top university officials who are visiting the region, and panel discussions/presentations on global challenges that ASU is partnering with local entities to resolve.
