At Arizona State University, we are proud to provide our students and faculty hundreds of international study, research, internship and service opportunities in nearly every corner of the world.

Research universities in the U.S. and around the world are a primary source of new knowledge and innovation that drives the global economy. Arizona State University is a comprehensive academic knowledge enterprise committed to discovery, creativity and innovation.
ASU is helping universities worldwide to rethink how higher education functions to educate the greatest number of students to the highest global standards at sustainable cost.
Arizona State University, with the support of the MasterCard Foundation, works to support young scholars from Africa. From 2012-2022, ASU will support 270 Mastercard Foundation Scholars. These academically-gifted young leaders seek to lead change and make a positive social impact in their communities.
ASU has also developed Baobab, a social learning network that will link all Mastercard Scholars. Since it's launch in 2016, the platform has connected 3,300 scholars and provided access to more than 100 external mentors.
ASU’s commitment to global engagement, supporting underserved populations, social embeddedness and sustainability promotes access to quality and relevant education for exceptional young people from economically disadvantaged communities, empowering them to give back to their home communities and countries.
